Care & Repair North East Wales is delighted to announce that it has been recognised with the Social Enterprise Award for Social Impact.  The award was presented by the Leader of Flintshire County Council, Councillor David Hughes, alongside Councillor Chris Dolphin, Cabinet Member for Environment, Regeneration, Countryside and Tourism, during a celebration held at the Broughton Wings Club at Airbus on Thursday 23 July.

The event brought together social enterprises from across Flintshire to celebrate the vital contribution they make to local communities and the positive difference they create every day.

Collectively, Flintshire’s social enterprises reported an impressive £9.5 million in social impact this year. Care & Repair North East Wales was proud to contribute £4,451,460 of that total, reflecting the organisation’s commitment to helping older and vulnerable people live independently, safely and comfortably in their own homes.
