Nature Moves at PFY offers gentle, confidence-building outdoor movement sessions for the over-50s.

Sessions are built around simple games, shared tasks, and light challenges that encourage movement, thinking, laughter, and connection — without pressure or expectations.

You might find yourself practising getting up and down from a bench, working with someone else to solve a movement task, or exploring balance and coordination in a relaxed, supportive way. There is always more than one way to take part, and everything can be adapted to suit you.

Our approach is social, playful, and inclusive, designed to help people feel more confident in their bodies and more connected to others.

We understand that barriers to physical activity are different for everyone. That’s why we use task-based movement, where there is no “right” or “wrong” way to move — just opportunities to explore what feels safe, useful, and achievable for your body.

What to expect:
